I’m Isabela Berger

I'm a Brazilian brand designer living in Portugal. I believe brand is, above all, a way to build emotional connection between an organisation and its people. My job is to find that connection and make it scale, through strategy, design systems, and AI-assisted production that let a whole team carry it consistently.
What I bring
// 001 //
Rebrand leadership
End-to-end brand transformation, from naming workshops to global rollout, managing agencies, freelancers, and internal teams simultaneously.
// 002 //
Design systems that scale
Brand infrastructure built for non-designers. At Go Vocal, 75% of the company adopted the brand library, producing on-brand materials without designer involvement.
// 003 //
Cross-cultural execution
Brand rollout across 10 international markets. I understand how identity, tone, and visual language need to adapt across different cultural contexts.
// 004 //
AI-integrated workflows
I build prompting systems and Claude-powered tools that speed up brand production and exploration — and I train teams and entrepreneurs to use AI for strategy and content, not just output.
// 005 //
Co-creation methodologies
Designed a modular branding process where client participation replaces revision cycles, building brand literacy from within the organisation.
// 006 //
Purpose-driven experience
20 years across civic organisations, NGOs, B Corps, SaaS platforms, and cultural institutions. Brand design that serves people, not just business goals.
My approach
Discovery & research
Understanding the organisation, its people, and the problem the brand needs to solve. Stakeholder interviews, audits, and positioning workshops, accelerated with AI-assisted synthesis.
Strategy before design
Positioning, naming, and brand architecture before any visual decision is made — using AI to pressure-test directions and explore options faster. Design without strategy is just decoration.
Build for scale
Design systems, asset libraries, and training programs that let the brand live independently of the design team.
Measure & iterate
Brand health metrics, adoption tracking, and a long-term plan for the brand to evolve as the organisation grows.
